What is the difference between hot tub salts made from Himalayan rock salt and Atlantic sea salt?
In this use, the difference between the two salts is not great. The Atlantic sea salt starts to evaporate a little faster as it has been finer when we started working with it. However, the difference is very small. In multi-packs there is also an option that contains one of each Kiuassuola - try and find the option that you like best.
Is Kiuassuola a medicine?
No, Kiuassuola is not a medicine or a medical product, but a 100% quality-certified natural product. Kiuassuola are sauna and wellness products, which many people have found to provide relief from their asthma, allergy and skin symptoms.
Can I use the ILMARI KUURA or ILMARI soapstone base with a ready-to-use sauna heater?
We do not recommend leaving the Kiuassuola and ILMARI KUURA or ILMARI stone under the cover. We know that some of our customers also use the product with such a heater. In that case, place the ILMARI KUURA or ILMARI on the heater about 15 minutes before you go to the sauna. This way, the soapstone has time to warm up before you go to the sauna.
When you finish using the sauna, lift the ILMARI KUURA or ILMARI out of the heater using an oven mitt. Note! The Ilmari is very hot, move it to a place where it can cool down safely.
Can I use loose salt on ILMARI KUURA or ILMARI base?
We do not recommend the use of loose salt. The sauna heater is designed so that it does not splash salt water along the sauna heater and thus cause corrosion. The service life and properties are also stated based on the fact that the sauna heater is used on the appropriate ILMARI KUURA or ILMARI soapstone base.
ILMARI KUURA and ILMARI soapstone platforms have a warranty. What does the warranty cover and how many complaints do you receive about the stones?
We want to offer a guarantee on soapstone Ilmars because they are a completely natural material. The stone hardens further when heated, so after each sauna session the stone becomes stronger.
When the product has been used according to the instructions and if, despite this, a crack develops in the ILMARI KUURA or ILMARI product, we will replace the product with a new one. The warranty period for the ILMARI KUURA product is 6 months and we have not yet received a single warranty return for it. ILMARI is made from waste stone and has been processed more, its warranty is 3 months from 1.11.25 and the number of complaints made about it is now around 1% of the thousands of stones that we have already delivered within six months of purchase, against receipt and photo.
