Kiuassuolan Lumo Oy uses high-quality, natural and responsibly sourced materials that emphasize the richness of Finnish nature and sustainable development.
Salts and soapstone are our most important natural materials. Atlantic sea salt and Himalayan rock salt are completely natural, untreated and rich in minerals and trace elements that support breathing, skin and general well-being.
Soapstone is an ancient natural material that offers excellent thermal properties and durability. It is sourced and processed in collaboration with responsible Finnish companies, such as Tulikivi and Hukka Design, which contributes to the sustainable and ecological use of nature.
The Finnish birch plywood in our Power Animal sauna heaters meets strict environmental, safety and ethical requirements, such as PEFC and FSC certifications, ensuring that the materials come from responsible sources.
The wild herbs in our artisan sauna drinks are all from Finland, and a large part of the herbs are hand-picked in Kainuu.
Our products are additive-free, delicious and handmade taste experiences for everyday life and celebrations.
Sustainable development and responsible material choices are present in all our operations: products are designed and manufactured in Finland in collaboration between small entrepreneurs and larger companies, minimizing the carbon footprint and promoting the circular economy.
The high level of expertise of our partners ensures the suitability and high quality of the materials. Our goal is to offer products that not only meet the highest quality standards, but also care for the environment and nature – naturally and sustainably.
Finally, we want every customer to be confident that by choosing Kiuassuola products, they are supporting Finnish craftsmanship, ecological responsibility and sustainable use of nature. In this way, Finnish cultural heritage, a lifestyle that values the richness of nature and today's sustainability go hand in hand. This principle is also implemented in our international trade, where we make shared value choices for our common planet.
