For us, membership of the Finnish Work Association and the Key Flag symbol on our products is a choice to communicate openly with consumers.
The Key Flag symbol indicates that the product is certified as being manufactured in Finland. The Design in Finland symbol indicates that the product is designed in Finland and manufactured in Finland or another country.
We chose the Key Flag symbol because our products are manufactured in Finland. Companies must apply for the symbol for each product and identify the degree of Finnish origin of the product, which consists of all aspects of the product, from design to the finished product. Only companies that have been granted the right to use the symbol may use the Key Flag symbol. We believe that external certification is important so that it is not just the company's own marketing communication. Consumers can trust that the information used in communication is verified.
